This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time/Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time/Part Time, and casual appointments with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. 

The location offers easy access to the Perth Hills and Swan Valley wine region, along with a more relaxed lifestyle – all without the stress of inner-city congestion. It’s also conveniently located just 20 minutes from a number of popular inner-city and eastern suburbs, making it easily accessible for staff from across the metro area.

 Position Profile: As part of a multidisciplinary team this role provides Occupational Therapy services and Care Coordination to consumers of the Community Mental Health Service. The Occupational Therapist facilitates and promotes consumer safety and quality of care and practices as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with Occupational Therapy professional and registration requirements, standards, codes and guidelines and EMHS policies and guidelines. 

Area Profile: Midland Community Mental Health Centre (MCMHC) is situated in the heart of Midland and  located 17 km from the Perth CBD and is easily accessible via public transport and close to the Midland Gate Shopping Centre. It is a multidisciplinary Tertiary Mental Health Community Service providing specialist Mental Health Care and Care Coordination for eligible consumers aged from 18 in the Swan/Hills catchment. Multidisciplinary teams work with consumers and their carer’s  to achieve their Recovery Goals and return to primary care in the community.
