Temporary (part time) 0.60 FTE appointment 13 October 2025 until 10 April 2026 with the possibility of a further temporary appointment &/or permanency.

The Role
The Support Officer Jobs and Skills provides project and administrative support to the Jobs and Skills Resources Unit, including but not limited to;

  • responding to and directing email and telephone enquiries;
  • managing the Jobs and Skills jobs boards;
  • supporting digital communication platforms and updating social media pages, the Jobs and Skills WA website and intranet sites using Drupal and SharePoint applications;
  • event management organisation and logistical support for forums and events; and
  • planning, scheduling and providing technical support for meetings with a range of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

Strong organisational skills, good communication and customer management skills, and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.  As an integral member of the team, you will also be able to work under pressure and to deadlines and be a keen and quick learner.  Familiarity with meeting planning and facilitation and an interest in digital media would be highly regarded.
