The Surgical/Maternity
Directorate offers equally rewarding opportunities,
with:
- A
12-bedded Maternity Ward and three Labour Suites, plus
outpatient maternity care
- Barker
Ward – Surgical/Medical care with a dedicated Nurse Specials
Unit
- Endoscopy
Department
- Day of
Surgical Admissions Unit, incorporating our Day Surgery
Unit
- A modern
Perioperative Unit, with four theatres
- Permanent pool,
applicants will be appointed to permanent contracts in this
pool where you will be allocated daily to work across different
wards/departments throughout the hospital.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a
permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector is
essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent
residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term
appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement
to live and work in Australia for the period of the
contract.
