CRVCID No. 696466
This is a permanent full-time position;
fixed term work arrangements may be considered.
About the Acute Care
& Response Team (ACRT):
The
ACRT is a new service model, arising from the
ICA Taskforce recommendations. The team
provides a step up in intensity of service to children and
adolescents experiencing a crisis or deterioration in their mental
health. This includes crisis response, assessment, safety planning,
short-term intervention, planning for ongoing care, and
supplementary care for children with severe and enduring mental ill
health. Care will be provided close to home in a community setting,
reducing the need for hospital presentations. The North, South, and
East ACRTs provide a service to children and adolescents who live
in each respective region of the Perth metropolitan
Area.
As
mental health conditions can deeply impact the emotional and social
well-being of children and their families, our holistic and
child-centred approach is designed to assist families and is
focused on participation and
engagement.
As
the Service Manager of the ACRTs, you’ll
have a pivotal role in implementing the strategic development,
