Our Management Accounting & Financial Analysis team provide a range of services including: coordination of Budget processes; development of Budget Statements; Parliamentary Estimates preparation; management of internal budgets; provision of financial information for Key Performance Indicators; financial analysis and advice on budgeting and forecasting; and internal financial reporting. 

The Opportunities

Level 2 Financial Planning and Analysis Administrator assists and supports the Branch with the preparation of financial reports, assigned budget routines and procurement activity where necessary.

Level 3 Financial Planning and Analysis Officer prepares and assists in the preparation of various internal and external financial reports and statutory returns, performs budget analysis and provides financial management services to designated directorates.

Level 4 Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Officer assists in the preparation of various internal and external financial reports (including the Annual Report and State Budget Papers), monitoring of budgets and the maintenance of financial costing models for the costing of services. This role works collaboratively with Managers and staff to ensure provision of high-quality service.

Level 4 Project Officer provides administrative support to the Manager and project team to support successful project delivery and provide support to other teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Level 5 Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is responsible for the monthly financial report packages and provides analyses on major variances with appropriate strategies to be undertaken. Ensures the integrity of budget information and assists in the annual budget development and quarterly review process.

Level 6 Senior Project and Financial Planning Analyst prepares and monitors Budgets, developments, maintains, and prepares Reports including the Executive Management Report. You will also work collaboratively with Managers and staff to ensure provision of high-quality service and also provide Project coordination and support for various Projects.

Level 6 Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst prepares and monitors of budgets, including maintaining information in the Treasury Strategic Information Management System (SIMS), development and maintenance of financial costing models for the costing of services and the preparation of reports including the Executive Management Report. Work collaboratively with Managers and staff to ensure provision of high quality service.

Level 6 Senior Financial Accountant coordinates and prepares monthly reporting, preparation of annual financial statements, review of monthly balance sheet reconciliation and develops and maintains policies consistent with whole of government policies, and relevant accounting standards and legislation.

What is the Talent Register?
