About the Role

Are you passionate about workforce development and ready to take the next step in your career? The PTA is looking for a motivated individual to join our dedicated Workforce Development team as our Graduate Coordinator.  In this position, you will provide vital program and administrative coordination to deliver workforce development initiatives and programs that address the current and future needs of our workforce.

Your key responsibilities will include leading recruitment, induction, onboarding and coordinating training, and stakeholder management across various workforce development programs. You’ll work with professional bodies, tertiary institutions, and program participants to ensure the success and impact of these programs. Additionally, you will analyse and report on program effectiveness, contribute to the PTA’s efforts to promote itself as an "employer of choice" at expos and career fairs, conduct research on workforce development trends, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Considerable experience in human resource, workforce development and/or organisational development ideally within a large and complex operational setting.
  • Relevant experience in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of effective workforce and organisational development strategies, programs and practices within a complex and demanding environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply contemporary human resource management principles, legislation, policies and best practice workforce and organisational development principles to workforce issues
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal skills) and the ability to foster and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Well-developed research, conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to research, identify, analyse and review issues and information, evaluate findings and develop appropriate solutions to issues (including complex human resource issues.
  • Well-developed planning, organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgment.
  • Outstanding organisational, planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism at all times and committed to providing a high level of customer service.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills
