The team provides a step up in intensity of service to children and adolescents experiencing a crisis or deterioration in their mental health. This includes crisis response, assessment, safety planning, brief and short-term interventions, planning for ongoing care, and supplementary care for children with severe and enduring mental ill health. Care is provided close to home in a community setting, reducing the need for hospital presentations.

As mental health conditions can deeply impact the emotional and social well-being of children and their families, our holistic and child-centred approach is designed to assist families and is focused on participation and engagement.   You’ll be part of a team that prioritises patient and staff safety and receive training and ongoing supervision.
