About the roleWe’re seeking an experienced and passionate Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) Lecturer to lead our Skills for Education and Employment programs. This role supports adult learners in developing essential language, literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills for further education and or employment.

There is a minimum qualification required to deliver accredited vocational education and training (VET) as defined by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (Standards), or its successors. The current minimum qualification required is the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116 or TAE40110) or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 or TAESS00024). Or can demonstrate current progress or a willingness to obtain it if required.

Lecturers employed in 2025 are eligible to receive a Temporary Regional Incentive of $15,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE). Eligible lecturers will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at NRTAFE, with the remainder paid on the anniversary of start date. Lecturers must remain employed in the location for 12 months to be eligible to receive the second payment.
