Position Profile: The Director, Financial
Sustainability Taskforce, will play a pivotal leadership role in
driving the development and implementation of complex strategic
projects to enhance the financial sustainability of the WA health
system. The position will ensure effective strategic planning,
delivery, and management of risks and dependencies, while
facilitating seamless communication and coordination across
multiple project work streams to achieve system-wide reform
outcomes.
With strong financial acumen, the Director will support the
Assistant Director General Finance and Business, Director General,
Health Executive, and Department Executive Committees in developing
financial improvement strategies, implementing reform actions,
monitoring progress, and assessing outcomes. The role will oversee
governance and accountability frameworks, coordinate reform
delivery, and contribute to performance monitoring and reporting
with a strong focus on change management and implementation of
change protocols System wide. This will be a unique opportunity for
an experienced and forward-thinking leader with significant
financial and reform leadership experience to influence the
long-term financial future of WA Health through innovation,
collaboration, and impactful change.
