Position
Profile:
Provide clinical care and
daily manage the delivery of quality patient services. Provide
advanced clinical patient care and demonstrated leadership by role
modelling in the emergency care environment within the Carnarvon
Hospital. Provide advanced clinical knowledge and support to
promote best – practice and evidence-based care according to
standards of practice in emergency care across the Gascoyne region.
Support and undertakes the Clinical Coordinator position as
required.

Essential
- Eligible
for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the
Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated advanced
nursing practice within the Emergency Department setting
including evidence of triage competency and Adult / Paediatric
advanced life support certificate.
- Demonstrated advanced
skills in planning, coordination and decision making, within
the Emergency Department setting.
- Demonstrated highly
developed interpersonal, team leadership and negotiation
skills, oral and written communication skills and proven
ability to build and maintain relationship.
- Demonstrates
understanding of continuous quality improvement programs and
risk management within practice.
- Eligible
for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers
licence.
Desirable
- Possession of or working
towards appropriate post-graduate qualification in Emergency
Nursing.
- Understanding of current
health issues in the public sector heath system, culture
concepts, including rural area service issue.
- Current
