We currently have full-time, permanent positions

About the Acute Care &
Response Team (ACRT):
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
Acute Care & Response Teams (ACRT) service operates
across the north, south and east metro areas within Perth,
WA.
The ACRT is a new service model, arising from the Infant, Child
and Adolescent Taskforce and its
recommendations. The service provides intensive mental health
support to children and adolescents experiencing a crisis or
deterioration in their mental health. This includes assessment,
safety planning and short-term stabilisation, planning for ongoing
care, and supplementary care for children with severe and enduring
mental ill health.
As mental health conditions can deeply impact the emotional and
social well-being of children and their families, our holistic and
child-centered approach is designed to assist families and is
focused on participation and engagement. The service can provide
care face to face or via tele-health within community, family home
or clinics, reducing the need for hospital presentation.
