Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 185 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region - Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region - Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region - Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the role - Northam
The Senior Service Desk Support Officer provides guidance to the Service Desk Support Officer team, who support clients in the use of computer hardware and software, unified communication, and networked peripheral devices across all College sites. While this role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, it is a key position in coordinating team efforts, promptly and efficiently responding to and resolving service requests in a timely and customer-focused manner.

To be successful in this role you will require a minimum of 2 years current or recent (within the last 4 years) experience in Information Technology support; with a focus on continuous improvement, interpersonal skills, and a good working knowledge in the areas of IT support, and system management.

About the role - Kalgoorlie
The role of the Senior Service Desk Support Officer is to lead a small local team supporting clients in the use of computer hardware and software, unified communication, and networked peripheral devices across all College sites. This role is responsible for promptly and efficiently responding to and resolving service requests in a timely and customer-focused manner.

To be successful in this role you will require a minimum of 2 years current or recent (within the last 4 years) experience in Information Technology support; with a focus on continuous improvement, interpersonal skills, and a good working knowledge in the areas of IT support, and system management
