ABOUT THIS
OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an outstanding
and committed candidate for the position of Executive Director
Nursing and Midwifery.
This role leads the
development of systems and strategies to deliver regional, publicly
funded nursing and midwifery services that are aligned to the needs
of country WA. As a clinical leader you will work
collaboratively with the executive and service partners to drive
nursing and midwifery initiatives that are innovative, utilise
technology, embrace change and shape policy.
To be considered for this
role, you must demonstrate your strategic nursing leadership
experience within a dynamic and complex health environment.
You will be skilled in planning, developing and coordinating
nursing and midwifery services with a focus on patient care,
clinical priorities and quality programs. This will be
supported by your commitment to the continuous improvement of
clinical standards and safety performance.
You will have a proven track
record of implementing operational policies and practises to
effectively manage a network of nursing services. This role
is also responsible for providing assurance to the WACHS Chief
Executive that the portfolio’s services and activities meet
the relevant clinical and corporate governance
requirements.

The successful candidate will
be eligible for registration as a general Registered Nurse in
accordance with the National Regulatory Board requirements and hold
a Nursing Tertiary qualification.
