About The Role:

The Lead Data Scientist is responsible for the advancement of our data science capability including statistical analysis and predictive modelling, report and dashboard design, and visualisations. The role leverages information from external sources and our own data to identify audit candidates, trends, risks, and operational inefficiencies. It undertakes a leadership role in the development and implementation of data science within RevenueWA.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to apply mathematical and statistical techniques to identify and model risks to revenue collection and grants administration. We require a self-starter who can communicate complex technical matters in a simple and understandable manner to a range of stakeholders including investigators and senior leaders.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
