We are seeking to establish a pool of Italian Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Falls Road Primary School (PS) is situated in the Darling Range hills behind Perth only 30 minutes from the city. It is located in a bush setting that provides a lovely, natural playground for the students. The school grounds have been developed to maintain much of the natural bushland and this has been complimented by the establishment of a large “natural bush” nature play area where lots of students enjoy playing. The school also provides purpose-built play areas such as basketball and netball courts; cricket, soccer and football ovals and climbing equipment for students.
Falls Road PS is a very community-oriented school and applicants who are committed to developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community will be highly regarded. Applicants will ideally possess a strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using the SCSA version of the Australian Curriculum.
Our school has a comprehensive positive reinforcement process which is complemented by the “Bounce Back” Program which focuses on developing student resiliency. Our students are supported in developing attitudes and values of care and concern for themselves, others, and the environment.
At Falls Road PS we are committed to providing a caring, flexible, and inclusive education for our students. We focus on developing the skills and values necessary to allow students to achieve their educational and social potential in an ever-changing world. Teachers support the achievement of this through the use of an explicit teaching approach across all year levels.
