The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive
program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives -
across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or
permanent contracts at eligible locations. Eligible nurses and
midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12
months. Please refer to the

Position Profile: As part of
a multidisciplinary team the Assistant in Nursing delivers patient
care under the direct supervision, delegation and guidance of a
Nurse or Midwife. Performs the primary function of an Assistant in
Nursing as defined in WA Health MP 0080/18 Assistant in Nursing
Policy and scope of practice documents - Assistant in Nursing
Duties Lists (Nursing Setting or Maternity Setting).
AIN (Student) and AIN (non-student),
need to provide evidence of enrolment in an approved course or
provide a copy of their Cert 111 In Health Services
Assistance-Acute Care or Certificate III
in Individual Support (Ageing) or
Certificate III Aged Care (superseded by Certificate III in
Individual Support-Aged Care in 2015).
