About The Role:
The Senior Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security of the Department of Finance’s (Finance) technology eco system, identifying and mitigating potential cyber threats and providing guidance and recommendations to improve the overall security posture of Finance.
About You:
We are seeking a skilled cyber security professional with expertise in cyber risk management, security operations, incident response, and security architecture. The role requires highly developed communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills and the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, including the Technology Services Leadership team, across Finance, and external cyber security agencies.
The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
