About The Role:
This position is responsible for supporting the Deputy Director General (DDG) to provide accurate, timely and consistent advice to the Corporate Executive, Director General, external customers and the Minister. The position also coordinates information flows across the Service and Invest Directorate and collaborates with senior representatives across Finance and externally to achieve business priorities. The position manages the office of the DDG, identifies opportunities, provides advice and supports the DDG to manage strategic issues through an informed approach.
This position operates in the context of Leading Others.
About You:
You are a leader with strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills focused on delivering values-based customer outcomes. You identify and solve problems in a clear, collaborative and innovative way by building and maintaining positive relationships across teams, directorates and agencies.
You have skills and experience working in a similar role including leading an executive office and working with and for senior executives, alongside a sound understanding of government and corporate services.
You are adept at, and enjoy, solving complex issues across diverse topics and functions.
