About The Roles:
These key leadership roles contribute to the development and consideration of policy matters of a technical nature, participate in RevenueWA’s strategic and business planning processes, maintain positive and effective customer relationships and ensure an external customer focus in service delivery.
Assistant Director Grants and Recovery
Assistant Director Grants and Recovery is a high-level leader, mentor and coach in the area of grants and subsidies administration and recovery operations. They represent Finance in relation to the operation of various grant and subsidy schemes and advise on the strategic direction and development of grants and subsidies schemes and recovery operations.
Assistant Director Duties
Assistant Director Duties is a high-level leader, mentor and coach in the area of stamp duty assessments. They represent Finance in relation to transaction negotiations and advise on the strategic direction and development of revenue matters.
Assistant Director Technical Advice and Specialist Services
Assistant Director TASS is a high-level leader, mentor and coach in the area of complex revenue laws and builds technical assessing capacity. They represent Finance in relation to high-value complex transaction negotiations and advise on the strategic direction of the technical development of revenue laws.
About You:
The ideal candidates will have extensive leadership experience in a complex regulatory context, with abilities in leading fast-paced, high-quality and customer-focussed service delivery and interpreting and applying legislation, as relevant to the role. You will thrive on fostering a great team and building team capability. You will have high-level skills in working constructively with external stakeholders, at times in contentious situations.
These positions operate in the context of Leading Leaders. This means you will be required to deliver results through leaders and your teams in a single business area, and by influencing leaders in other business areas. You will add value by providing direction and developing and coaching your leaders to achieve operational objectives. You will make decisions about how services should be provided based on the resources at hand.
