The opportunity
Leading a team of three across multiple sites (Pinnaroo, Fremantle, Karrakatta) you will play a significant role in helping families honour their loved ones. The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) seek to permanently appoint a Monumental & Memorial Services Coordinator who will oversee the arrangements of monumental and memorial services to create meaningful tributes. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Provide compassionate, timely and efficient delivery of services to customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery to optimise business outcomes.
- Process monumental applications against technical specifications.
- Inspect the construction, position and compliance of new and reinstated monumental works.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and stakeholders.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have;
- Experience in site assessments, inspections, or compliance monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety and project management principles

Essential Eligibility Requirements
- Australian permanent residency is a minimum requirement for permanent appointment to the West Australian Public Sector.
- Appointment is subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance. A criminal conviction may not preclude you from gaining employment.
- Current and valid West Australian Driver’s License is a requirement for this role.
