About the role
Location: Head Office, East Perth
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement Projects Officer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and implementing procurement management standards, processes, and documentation that align with the strategic goals of the organisation.
As a Procurement Projects Officer, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies and effectiveness across procurement activities within various projects. Your expertise will play a key role in drafting procurement documentation, developing contract clauses, and providing advice and training on procurement best practices. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive reports for both internal stakeholders and government agencies, contributing to informed decision-making and the success of procurement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise critical and analytical thinking to evaluate, improve or implement procurement policies, processes and documentation, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, offering guidance and delivering training to internal teams on procurement policies and practices.
- Draft procurement documentation and tailored contract clauses, ensuring compliance with legal, organisational, and strategic objectives.
- Provide expert advice on procurement activities and best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving forward-thinking solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to internal stakeholders and government agencies, highlighting procurement performance and recommending improvements.
- Leverage strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring procurement projects are completed efficiently and within required timelines.
