Fremantle CAMHS. This is
a full-time, fixed-term position for 6 months, with the possibility
of extension.
About Our
Team:
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
(CAMHS) in Western Australia offer support, advice and
treatment to children and adolescents from birth to 18 years who
are experiencing mental health challenges.
CAHS helps children grow and thrive and we offer these same
opportunities to the nurses who join our team. Our team-oriented
approach allows for extensive clinical upskilling, and leadership
development opportunities for nurses of all levels.
About the
Role:
You will provide high-level, comprehensive, and confidential
administrative support to the Service Manager, Head of Service, and
other officers and clinicians within the Child and Adolescent
Mental Health Service (CAMHS) site. You will ensure efficient and
effective administrative operations.
As part of the CAMHS team, you will work in a dynamic
environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality mental
health services for children and adolescents. We offer flexible
part-time and full-time shifts, along with opportunities for
professional development and training.
What you will bring:
- Prior experience in providing high-level administrative
support in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competence in maintaining confidential records and
information systems.
- Proficiency in using various administrative and data
management systems.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to
policies and guidelines.

- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise
staff (EC 2)
- Well-develop interpersonal, verbal and written

activities to meet deadlines and work effectively under
pressure (EC 5)
- Well-developed computer literacy with relevant experience
in data bases, data extraction and generation of reports for
statistical analysis, spreadsheet software and word processing
including the use of Office 365 suite of
applications (EC 6)
- A current resume and cover

qualifications and how you can meet the position
requirements.

About our CAMHS Directorates

Community CAMHS – Community
CAMHS offers mental health assessment and multidisciplinary
intervention for children and young people up to the age of 18
years.

Specialist Services and Day
Programs – The Specialist Services
and Day Programs consists of Complex Attention and
Hyperactivity Disorder Service, Multisystemic Therapy, Pathways
and Touchstone. These programs support children and young
people who have complex mental health needs.

Acute CAMHS – Acute CAMHS,
based at Perth Children’s Hospital has a mental health
inpatient unit (Ward 5A), Paediatric Consultation Liaison,
Eating Disorder Service and Gender Diversity Service.
