About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Construction and Maintenance Manager in the Wheatbelt Region. This role, based in our Northam office, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and execution of essential road construction and maintenance projects.
As a key member of the Regional Management Team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice for the development and preparation of both the Ten-Year Network Delivery Plan and Regional Delivery Plan. You will be responsible for proactively creating and implementing maintenance management plans, ensuring these are effectively communicated and followed by maintenance teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of road construction and maintenance projects.
- Lead and support the maintenance and project teams, focusing on employee performance, behaviour management, and professional development.
- Provide strategic input into the Ten-Year Network Delivery Plan and Regional Delivery Plan.
- Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance management plans.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
- Manage project and contract delivery from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Oversee financial, physical, and resource management to ensure optimal project outcomes.
