This is a Recruitment pool for Casual, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Part Time at various hours with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. 

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse’s to join the Community Health team based in Mullewa, Midwest district.

To be successful, you will have: 

  • Well-developed nursing skills relevant to community, school and child health.
  • Ability to function independently and as a team.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to primary health care principles and health promotion.
  • Knowledge of current legislation in relation to nursing practice.
  • Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence.

Position Profile: Provides clinical services as part of the core community health programs such as immunisations, school health and child health. Responsible for providing quality primary health services to the community within their own levels of competency to meet planned health outcomes.

This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:

  • The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.
  • Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
  • Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/10/2025.

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Midwest health region of Western Australia covers more than 470,000 square kilometres, nearly one fifth of the State, with its population concentrated along the coast. The region is located in the northern middle section of Western Australia and incorporates three health districts - Gascoyne, Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison, is recognised for its unique natural environment and is a culturally diverse region with Aboriginal people representing 13% of the overall population.
