The Role
Comet Bay College is seeking suitably qualified, passionate, and committed English Teachers to join our team. At Comet Bay College we strive for excellence by nurturing individual abilities, providing meaningful opportunities and fostering positive respectful relationships.
The successful applicants will be given the opportunity to work across Year 7 to Year 12 and bring their expertise to the Learning Area, applying their knowledge of the English Western Australian Curriculum to help our students achieve outstanding results. Experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English would be desirable.
To be suitable for this role, you will be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as demonstrating an engaging and energetic teaching style. You will ideally reflect and assess the effectiveness of your teaching practice using a variety of instructional strategies available within the College, promote an environment of active and positive learning, and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable all students to achieve their highest potential. With effective interpersonal skills, you should work closely with students, teachers and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
