The Public Trustee is a Statutory Authority administered by the Department of Justice. The Public Trustee offers independent, professional trustee and asset management services, including managing finances for those with impaired decision-making; administering trusts and deceased estates; supporting private administrators; and drafting wills and enduring powers of attorney.
The Public Trustee consists of approximately 200 staff members. Under the direction of the Public Trustee himself, Brian Roche, the Public Trustee is divided up into four Directorates - Business Services, Corporate Support, Legal Services and Trustee Services.
