Attraction and Retention
Incentive (ARI)
An ARI ranging from $6000 to
$10,000 pa. has been approved and is payable to Dental Therapists
who are engaged in regional Western Australia before 30 June 2025.
The ARI is payable in three instalments subject to meeting
eligibility requirements. The ARI will apply to positions based in
the South West, Great Southern, Wheatbelt, Goldfields, Kimberley,

This is a Permanent Full Time or Fixed
Term Full Time with the possibility of extension(s) and/or
permanency.
About this role
The successful
Dental Therapist will provide routine dental care for enrolled
children in our School Dental Therapy Centres. You will be
responsible for maintaining patient records in accordance with
Dental Health Services policies and giving guidance to Dental
Clinic Assistants.
Other duties include, but are not
limited to provision and preventive oral health services to
children and provide oral health education to individuals, schools
and community groups.
We are seeking enthusiastic and
suitably qualified Dental Therapists with well-developed
communication skills, who thrive working as part of a small team to
deliver high quality oral healthcare, including
education.

Location
Whilst this position is based
in Kununurra, regular visits are made to Wyndham and Halls Creek.
Accommodation and allowances are payable whilst outreach services
are being provided at the designated stopping points.

the East Kimberley and just 45km from the border of the Northern
Territory. Kununurra is the perfect base for the outdoor enthusiast
and is full of stunning natural beauty. Hiking trails, gorges and
waterfalls await for you to explore on your weekends off. Pack up
the 4WD and explore all the Kimberly region has to offer, or even a
weekend trip into the Northern Territory to explore the national

Eligibility to Apply:
- Applicants must be eligible for registration by the Dental
Board of Australia as a Dental Therapist or Oral Health

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an
essential requirement for applicants to be considered for
permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible
for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence
of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the
period of the contract.

initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to
fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In
