About the
role:
The Laboratory Assistant key responsibilities
are:
- Receives, prioritises,
registers, labels, and prepares incoming laboratory
specimens.
- Generates, sorts, files
and distributes laboratory request forms and
reports.
- Provides telephone
enquiry service.
- In accordance with
laboratory procedures, safely handles potentially infectious
biological material for pathology testing.

requirements of the position. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in
the offer of employment being withdrawn.

from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
