The Opportunity
Are you passionate about fostering a safe and more sustainable transport system that helps make Western Australia a great place to live, work and play? We are looking for a motivated Project Officer to join our team and play a key role in planning, designing, and delivering innovative integrated transport strategies, programs, and projects.
Using your experience in transport planning/urban and regional planning, you will assist to develop and implement innovative and evidence-based strategic plans and projects across Perth that support accessible, connected, and liveable communities. You will participate collaboratively with a range of Transport Portfolio, State agency and local government partners to provide high quality strategic transport planning advice and expertise to promote safe, efficient, and fit-for-purpose transport solutions for all users. There is 1 permanent position available for immediate filling.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months from date of first appointment across the Department of Transport.
