Registered Nurses to join the RPBG Casual Pool.
We are seeking to expand out
pool of talented individuals across Royal Perth Hospital and
Bentley Health Service. If you are seeking diversity of experience

About the job and

current or recent line manager)
This is a recruitment pool
for casual appointments only. This pool does not include
permanent appoints to the RPH Corporate Nursing Pool (CNP). There
are currently no vacancies in the CNP. This pool is open from the
1st January 2025 to the 31st December
2025.
There will be four (4)
intakes per year. You will be considered for the next available
intake. If your application is submitted after the cut off date,
you will be considered for the next intake. The cut off dates for
each intake are as follows:
- Intake
1: 19th January 2025 11:59PM AWST
- Intake
2: 20th April 2025 11:59PM AWST
- Intake
3: 20th July 2025 11:59PM AWST
- Intake
4: 19th October 2025 11:59PM AWST
If you are successful, you
will be notified within four (4) weeks of the cut-off date via
email. You will receive the RPBG Casual Employment Process Guide
for Successful Applicants containing information regarding next
steps.
If you are unsuccessful, you
will be notified via email. If you wish to be considered in the
following intake, you must specify in your email
response.
For all applicants, the
following should be noted:
- Applicants MUST have at
least one (1) years’ hospital experience to be
considered.
- EN / RN
students seeking an AIN position must have completed at least
half of their degree to be considered.
- It is
desirable to have experience in at least two (2) different
speciality areas.
- A
maximum of twelve (12) staff will be successful to the pool
within each intake to align with available
resources.
- Applications will be
ranked based on the following:

- Years of
experience.
- Diversity of
experience.
- Specialised
skill set.
- Quality of
responses to the three (3) questions in the
application.
- Referees
will be contacted after the cutoff date. Please ensure they are
aware and available to respond within the timeframe provided.
Failure to provide references will result in your application
automatically becoming unsuccessful.
- The
panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications
throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular basis.
Existing RPBG staff applications may be considered outside the
intakes specified above. Existing RPBG staff applications may
be considered outside the intakes specified above (i.e. staff
already employed at RPH / BHS).
- Existing
RPBG staff with a permanent part time contract are not
eligible for a casual contract. If you wish to pick up extra
shifts, please have your current NUM contact the Nurse Manager
to request ShiftMatch access.
- Existing
permanent RPBG staff wishing to pick up casual shifts while on
unpaid maternity leave, are not eligible to apply
through this pool. Please contact the Operations Hub Nurse
Manager to progress.
