Registered Midwives to join Armadale Health Service and become part
of the team at one of our most inclusive hospitals within East
Metropolitan Health Services (EMHS). The role provides an
opportunity to practice women centred care within the scope of
practice for a registered Midwife.
A community focussed model
of Maternity care that provides a collaborative and integrative
services to address the needs of the women and their families. Our
Midwives can work across a range of both ambulatory and
non-ambulatory services, including Antenatal; Intrapartum/Birthing,
Postnatal and community/ancillary services. All our EMHS Midwives
are provided an opportunity to gain experience in our
well-established Midwifery Group Practice including the award
winning Boodjari Yorgas service supporting Aboriginal maternal
health and wellbeing. There are ongoing opportunities to apply for
promotional roles within both inpatient and outpatient .

This is a Recruitment Pool
for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time,
Fixed Term Part Time, and Casual appointments. Fixed Term
appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s)
and/or permanency.
This recruitment pool will
be open for 12 months, and the following should be
noted:
- The
panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications
throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular
basis.
- Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool and appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur within any EMHS
facility.
- Appointments may be made
from this pool until 13/03/2026.

Eligibility and
Equality
Australian citizenship or
permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to
be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be
eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary
evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the
period of the contract.
Applicants must hold
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation
Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife (or be eligible to apply).
