Narrogin Residential College are seeking to establish a pool of Boarding Supervisor for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2025 and up to the end of December 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Successful applicants will supervise students, provide appropriate care to support their wellbeing and fulfill their duty of care in line with relevant legislation and Department requirements. They will respect and embrace diversity within the student population, provide and supervise opportunities which support the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of students. Supervisors also arrange and provide appropriate transportation to events, outings and appointments including driving students in college vehicles.
Boarding Supervisors will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with colleagues, parents, school staff and others involved in supporting student development and wellbeing and will undertake professional learning to maintain and develop personal knowledge relevant to the responsibilities of a boarding supervisor.
This role will require suitable applicants to uphold the Public Sector Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct and work in accordance with Department requirements.

Eligibility
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
- work according to rostered hours which may include nights, weekends and public holidays
- obtain (prior to first rostered shift working with students) and maintain a current:
- First Aid Certificate – Provide CPR (HLTAID009); and
- First Aid Certificate – Provide First Aid (HLTAID011);
- within six months of commencement of employment obtain and maintain a current:
- LR Class Driver’s Licence and a Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation
- Aquatic Rescue for Group lll Pool Award*
- Surf Rescue Certificate*
- obtain a Certificate IV in Community Services – Student Residential Care (CHC42021) within six months of commencement of employment.
* Dependent on operational requirements as determined by College Manager.
