The Role
Applecross SHS is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Teacher – Science.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work across Years 7 to 12 and bring their expertise to the Learning Area, applying their knowledge of the Science Courses.
You will ideally be student focused, highly motivated and innovative. You should possess sound interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and be able to work cooperatively in a large collaborative Learning Area team. Sound classroom management skills, the ability to develop rapport and motivate students, the ability to differentiate curriculum to cater for individual student needs and to practise a range of high impact teaching strategies are highly desirable.
Applicants who are able to successfully deliver Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Chemistry and/or Physics are encouraged to apply.
