Position Profile: Perth
Children’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our
specialised Oncology & Haematology ward. We provide
comprehensive care for children and adolescents diagnosed with
cancer and blood disorders. As a Registered Nurse, you will be an
integral member of our multidisciplinary team, delivering
high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their
families.
This role
encompasses a broad scope of responsibilities including patient
assessment, care planning, and treatment administration. You will
collaborate closely with medical staff, allied health
professionals, and families to optimize patient outcomes.
Additionally, you will contribute to the education and professional
development of junior nursing staff.
About Perth Children’s Hospital
(PCH): is Western Australia's specialist paediatric
hospital and trauma centre, with 298 beds. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical

an example where you demonstrated effective
communication skills while collaborating within a
multidisciplinary team. How did your communication
contribute to the team’s success, and an
excellent patient outcome? (Essential Criteria 3 &
4)
- How have you
applied your understanding of the Continuous Quality
Improvement process in your previous nursing roles? Can
you provide an example of a specific quality
improvement initiative you were involved in, including
the steps you took to identify areas for improvement,
implement changes, and monitor the outcomes? (Essential
Criteria 6)
- A
current resume which summarises your experience and contains
phone and email contact details of two professional referees,
with at least one being a recent supervisor/line
manager.
