The Role
Girrawheen SHS is seeking to appoint a teacher of the Noongar language to join their school community. The successful applicant will ideally be a passionate and dedicated educator, highly motivated to provide students with a purposeful and engaging learning experience and develop their skills, knowledge, and understandings related to Noongar language and culture.
To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to immerse students in both an understanding of the language and culture as well as providing a consistent, integrated, and inclusive learning program which engages and motivates students. Also, you will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and effective classroom management.
