This is a permanent part time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025.
Kalamunda Primary School (PS) has an enrolment of approximately 360 students from K-6. Our site is proudly shared with Kalamunda Primary School Education Support Centre. With Kalamunda town centre within a few minutes’ walk our location ensures we are a true 'hub' of our community.

The Role
The successful applicant should be a passionate teacher of Physical Education with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. They should be able to display an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and experience in developing and delivering the curriculum to P-6 students of varying ability levels including those with additional needs.
The Physical Education Specialist will organise and coordinate sport carnivals enthusiastically, giving students the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and positive attitude toward physical activity. They will also work within the network with colleagues to plan and conduct network sporting carnivals. The successful applicant will be experienced in the Fundamental Movement Skills program.
Suitable applicants should be proactive and inclusive utilising individualised planning, Positive Behaviour Support strategies and the outstanding delivery of pastoral care to support the health and wellbeing of our students and families.
