The Role
Melville Senior High SHS are seeking a dynamic English as an additional language or dialect (EAL/D) /English teacher to join our English Department.
The successful applicant should possess an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, EALD Progress Maps, General and Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) courses and be able to teach students of varying ability and English language proficiency levels across Years 7 to 12 in a highly engaging manner. Experience teaching ATAR EALD is highly desirable.
Ideally, the successful applicant will be a dynamic, dedicated and highly motivated educator with the ability to develop high quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students and work effectively with our dedicated English team.
