Some of WA’s largest Government agencies have come together to offer a 12-month rotational graduate program. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be permanently appointed to an agency to continue your professional career. What’s better than one graduate program? Three in one!
The Opportunity.
This is a great opportunity to join an innovative program which will see graduates contributing their skills and ideas to projects across the public sector. Over 12 months, graduates will rotate up to three times, to various government agencies and develop skills across a range of digital skills. Don't take our word for it see it for yourself.
How it works.
You will get the opportunity to join dynamic teams of dedicated and talented digital professionals, who will mentor and support you, to succeed in each rotation upon successfully securing a permanent role at one of the agencies. The 2024 Digital Public Sector Graduate Program hired 26 STEM graduates. Supported by16 participating agencies, were selected to work in one of the four specialised streams: Cyber Security, Data Science, ICT Operations and ICT Project Management. The opportunities each year depend on business needs.

In addition to the structured rotational program with customised rotational development plan and diverse support network across agencies, you will receive:
- Personal and professional development via participation in the Public Sector Commission Launch Program
- Youth Week WA 2025 is the biggest celebration of young people on the Western Australian youth calendar. The program supports participating in a volunteering activity to celebrate the positive contributions of young people within our community.
- Permanent position at the conclusion of the program, subject to satisfactory performance.

Enthusiastic graduates who completed their bachelor’s degree in STEM or ICT related degree between 2022 and 2024 inclusive, are welcome to apply. Students must be an Australian citizen or have Permanent Residency at the time of applying.

- 11.5% superannuation contribution, increasing to 12% by 1 July 2025.

What happens next?
