The Opportunity

We are seeking an organised, passionate and self-motivated professional with experience in business and systems management to join our Finance and Commercial Services Directorate.

This position plays a key role in the management of business requirements and the improvement and enhancement of Aboriginal Participation Systems and technology for the Transport Portfolio Aboriginal Engagement (TPAE) Branch. Some of the roles key deliverables include:

  • Business Management: provide crucial risk and strategic issues management, business planning and reporting, and, management of business processes and system implementation. Be a leader in the facilitation and compliance with corporate Safety Health and Wellbeing requirements.for the branch.
  • Information and Communications Technology: provide management and specialist advice in relation to Aboriginal Participation Systems, acting as a ‘change agent’ to progress new opportunities and trends in regard to ICT technologies.
  • Leadership and Management: contribute to the formulation of policy, standards, strategy and business planning processes, demonstrating your leadership and mentorship skills across the branch, in matters relating to Business and Systems.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: leverage off the collaborative working relationships you establish with both internal and external stakeholders to progress matters relating to business management and ICT.

  • Managing financial, technological, physical and other resources within agreed allocations to meet agreed outcomes
  1. A copy of your current Western Australian ‘C-A’ Class (car) motor vehicle drivers’ licence or an approved equivalent
  1. If applicable to you (not mandatory), a copy of your Degree in Commerce (Management)
