About the Role
We are seeking a part time Senior People and Culture Consultant (SPCC) to join our People and Culture team. The Senior People and Culture Consultant (Industrial and Employee Relations) provides high level consultancy and advisory service to management, operational areas, and employees on an array of human resources and employee relations matters including the application and interpretation of industrial awards, agreements, policies, and related legislation.
The role also provides advice and direction to facilitate the resolution of workplace matters, including Industrial Relations, Performance Management and Discipline, Equal Opportunity, Grievance Resolution and Redeployment, in line with VenuesWest policies and procedure and relevant standards and legislation.
The SPCC works closely with the Manager People and Culture to proactively manage psychosocial safety in the workplace including providing direction and guidance to a direct report to ensure that wellbeing, mental health and injury management reflect the principles of psychosocial risk management.
This is a part time role offering 22.5 hours per week with days of work and working from home options negotiable with the successful candidate. The position is fixed term to 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Whilst the position will be based at HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.

About the Person
The successful candidate will have previous demonstrated experience on providing human resources advisory and consultancy including the management of workplace issues such as discipline, grievance resolution and performance management as well as industrial relations.
