Lotterywest is the only State Government owned and operated lottery in Australia, where all the available profit is returned to the Western Australian Community through community and statutory grants. Lotterywest is the employing agency for Healthway and for over 30 years Healthway has been providing grant funding to sport, arts and racing organisations, community activities, and to health promotion projects and research. Job Profile
Reporting to the newly appointed CEO, the successful candidate will lead and empower the high performing Lotteries Business Unit to deliver outcomes across:
- Strategic transformation
- Lottery operations
- Development of products & channels
- Marketing & sales
- Business analysis & insights
- Customer & retailer support
- Development of gaming systems & assets
This role a member of the Corporate Executive team and has shared responsibility for the strategic direction and leadership of Lotterywest. Specifically, the Lotteries business unit manages local and national lotto games, channels, and services for customers. Your team will include 9 direct reports and a total complement of 100.
This is a critical appointment for Lotterywest, and this individual will require strong leadership, strategic thinking capability and retail experience. Additionally, you will support a highly visible transformation program built around a new Gaming System, integrated Channel Strategy and a Better Business Program for a retail network.
