The Office of Digital Government is leading the digital transformation of the WA public sector to support agencies in improving service delivery to the community. This includes providing more convenient access to government services online, and not disadvantaging those who cannot or do not want to use digital services. Ensuring the WA Government’s vision for digital reform, and progress Western Australia towards a more secure, sustainable and inclusive digital future is a crucial element of what we do.
About the Role
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals with a passion for public policy and digital transformation to join us. Importantly, this role does not require technical ICT experience.
This is an engaging and multifaceted job with opportunities to work with a broad range of stakeholders, assist with improving service delivery and outcomes for all Western Australians, and get involved with initiatives that shape decisions in government.
The Principal Policy Officer undertakes high level strategy, analysis, policy, and governance work to progress digital transformation across the whole of government. The position provides support and advice and undertakes complex research and analysis in relation to the development, coordination, implementation, and review of digital transformation initiatives from a whole of government perspective.
