This is a recruitment pool focused on filling positions within Community Health. There will be opportunities for permanent full-time, permanent part-time, fixed-term full-time, and fixed-term part-time roles, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Position Profile: We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Clinical Nurses to provide high quality care to infants, children, and young people in the community in a variety of areas. Exciting opportunities are available in CAHS – Community Health Services in the following areas:

School Health: includes primary schools, high schools, Education Support units and enuresis support.

Child Health: providing services to families and children including newborn home visits, developmental checks from birth to 3 years, and breastfeeding support

Aboriginal Health Team: work with a multidisciplinary team providing primary health to Aboriginal children and their families

Refugee Health Team: working with children and their families who are from a refugee background.

About CAHS Community Health:  Community Health provides health and developmental assessments, early intervention and health promotion services for children and young people.

These services are provided in the community across the Perth metropolitan area at community health centres, in schools, home visits and through telehealth appointments. Services focus on child health, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and supporting families.

    • Give an example that demonstrates your clinical knowledge and experience in the practice setting/specialty within the past two (2) years. (Related to Essential Criteria 2 & 4)
    • Give an example of how you include the CAHS values of Respect and Collaboration in your current clinical practice. (Related to Essential Criteria 5)
    • Describe how you would use your communication and interpersonal skills to resolve a conflict resolution situation with a client or carer? (Related to Essential Criteria 6)

  • A current resume which summarises your experience and contains phone & email contact details of 2 professional referees, with at least 1 being a recent supervisor/line manager.
  • During the application process, you will have the opportunity to indicate your top three location & services preferences you wish to apply for.
