The Strategic Communications Unit (SCU) develops, delivers and/or advises on advertising campaigns and communications projects related to key government priorities.
About the Role
The Communications Manager leads the development and delivery of impactful strategic communications and stakeholder engagement plans, while providing high-level crisis communications, issues management and media advice.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated communications professional ready to play a key role in our high performing team. You are a leader in your field and thrive when there are multiple projects on the go. You have excellent written communication skills and experience in responding to media enquiries and drafting media statements.
Supporting the Deputy Director, you have a unique ability to collaborate and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Most of all, you love collaborating with your colleagues and are passionate about ‘comms’ and making a positive difference to the WA community.
