About The Role:

Responsible for the strategic direction of the Statutory Planning team on statutory approvals and land assembly. Oversees the development approval process in accordance with the Finance delegation, reviews asset policy implications for the delivery of public works projects, formulates guidance on project direction and land assembly as part of the Strategic Asset Management Framework (SAMF).       

About You:

The Assistant Director Statutory Planning Services will provide leadership to the Statutory Planning Services team and support the General Manager Statutory Planning and Asset Policy in developing and delivering strategic direction for the planning and delivery of public works projects in WA. You will have extensive demonstrated experience in statutory planning and  will have highly developed conceptual, analytical and strategic problem solving skills. You will be expected to inspire and influence; leverage expertise and resources to achieve quality outcomes in a customer-centric planning and land services environment. High level communication skills and the ability to lead negotiations are vital attributes for this role.
