PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA is the statewide provider of public pathology and forensic services within the WA health and justice systems. We proudly service all public hospitals in Western Australia from Kununurra in the north through to Esperance in the south, making our services accessible to all Western Australians.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional, who is passionate about pathology, to join our Executive in a role that is a pivotal to our purpose, vision and values.
This is a Fixed Term Full-time executive appointment for 5 years.
Specific arrangements may be negotiated with the successful candidate, including an option for pathology sessions within their scope of practice.

About this exciting opportunity:
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person with proven experience in professional leadership in the pathology sector and a commitment to continuing education, teaching and research to join PathWest Executive.
As a member of the PathWest Executive Team, you will provide expert advice and support to the Chief Executive and Executive members through analysis of trends and emerging issues, service design and development, State/national/international liaison and representation.
You will be responsible for the clinical governance oversight for all PathWest services across Western Australia, and Chair PathWest’s Clinical and Scientific Governance Committee providing advice, planning and leadership on all clinical governance and scientific discipline matters.
