About The Role:
The Graphic Designer is Finance’s brand custodian responsible for designing, developing dynamic and engaging communication materials for a broad range of business areas and customers, including those with accessibility requirements.
This role requires excellent layout and document-building skills, the ability to conceptualise consistent brand ideas with a high degree of speed and accuracy for a range of mediums, including but not limited to print, website, intranet and social media platforms.
This role is responsible for ensuring our brand is delivered in a consistent and professional manner, in keeping with Finance and State Government style guidelines.
Comprehensive knowledge of design software using a PC platform such as the Adobe Creative Suite – specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat – and integrated marketing communications and design for social and digital will be advantageous.
About You:
You’ll be a creative thinker who can translate strategic ideas and objectives into dynamic and interesting visual assets. You’ll have a passion for brand and design and looking at ways to extend and push our brand into exciting and surprising spaces. Your inclusive and collaborative nature will be well suited to working with our communications and marketing team, and for networking and engaging with all Finance directorates. Ideally you’ll have a strong understanding of marketing design, working with deadlines, and creating engaging and appealing design for print, digitial and social media.
