About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, passionate and self-driven safety leader for our newly created role of Safety Manager Regional, based in our South West Region Branch and be based in our Bunbury office. This challenging and highly rewarding role will offer lots of variety and will require strong skills and experience in building and managing a culture of workplace health and safety as well as a natural ability to work with a range of people and stakeholders to build relationships and influence effectively.

To be successful you will be:

  • experienced in managing all aspects of work health, safety and wellbeing in a large organisation with a multidisciplinary workforce in line with Work Health and Safety legislative requirements
  • experienced in providing leadership in the development, implementation and improvements of workplace safety culture, systems and processes and practices and report on regional safety performance
  • a problem solver with strong attention and focus on results.  
  • a strong communicator with an ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Building and managing a culture of work health and safety in a workplace that follows an organisation’s WHS standards and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborating with an organisation’s central safety, health and wellbeing function in implementing corporate directions and initiatives.

Please submit evidence of your current Western Australian ‘C’ class motor vehicle driver’s licence and if applicable, your Degree in Work Health and Safety or other relevant discipline. Applicants selected for appointment will need to provide originals prior to appointment.
