About the Role
Main Roads Western Australia is growing rapidly due to technological advancements and their impact on the transport landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and high performing Project Services team within a leading infrastructure and network management organisation.
As part of the Infrastructure Delivery Directorate, the Project Services Branch provides expert engineering and technical advice to major roads projects that are delivered through Alliance and Design and Construct contracts.
A key component of the role is the preparation of the Scope of Works and Technical Criteria contract documents for complex road projects along with the provision of specialist technical engineering advice and support. A minimum Degree in Civil Engineering is required for this role.
You will use your strong stakeholder relationship skills to work collaboratively with Project Directors and Managers through specialist engineering design reviews, assessment of design alternatives and statutory compliance.
About You
As an experienced Civil Engineering technical specialist, you will be able to lead technical services and bring comprehensive experience in complex road project delivery. Your expertise in road engineering, understanding of contracts and ability to think critically will compliment the other skills within the project team to create outstanding outcomes. You will show leadership by motivating and developing project team members and driving the continual improvement of project and contract management practice across Main Roads.
