About the Role

Main Roads is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to fulfil the role of Plant & Depot Officer located at our Derby Depot in the Kimberley region.

This role is responsible for maintaining and providing plant and depot requirements in the region.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will utilise your ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the business to effectively manage the maintenance of plant and equipment for road maintenance activities and projects.

You will also be required to manage incoming stock orders and implement inventory control systems.

Ideally, you will possess the following attributes:

  • a background in administering plant and equipment maintenance and servicing.
  • experience in depot practices relating to vehicle and equipment movement.
  • good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • knowledge of work health and safety practices.
